Joining a pageant again is not yet on the priority list of Maureen Wroblewitz
Actress-model Maureen Wroblewitz is now focused on her acting and modeling projects while the pageant is taking a backseat.
From winning the Asia’s Next Top Model Season 5, Maureen continued her path in the modeling arena. Eventually, she entered the realm of showbiz and did various acting projects. She also did a short hosting stint on the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga.
After that, Maureen joined Miss Universe Philippines 2021 and she was hailed as the First runner-up. With her performance in the said pageant, it is inevitable for her fans to urge her to join a national pageant again.
In a recent interview, based on the article in PUSH, Maureen Wroblewitz said that joining a pageant again is not on her priority list for now. “Probably not (laughs). I don’t know. I’m turning 25 so I still have a little more time but as of now, it’s not part of my plan. It’s definitely a time of experience and self-discovery, self-love, prioritizing my peace and getting to know myself better,” she said.
She stressed that she has not thought about this, however, she said that she did not know yet if her mind will change eventually.
Maureen also shared that she is happy for her fellow beauty queen Michelle Dee who was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2023 and Miss Supranational Philippines 2023 Pauline Amelinckx.
“Oh my gosh I was really rooting for both of them. But Michelle is very deserving. Both of them are very deserving. So I’m really glad. I watched them last year and they’ve grown so much in the past year so I’m very, very happy for both of them, Miss Supra and Miss Universe Philippines. They’re both very deserving,” Maureen Wroblewitz said.
She also shared a piece of advice for beauty queens who experience scrutiny. Maureen said that it is important to have self-care because negative comments can really affect one’s mental health.
