LJ Reyes is set to marry her non-showbiz boyfriend
Actress LJ Reyes announced through her recent Instagram post that she is now engaged to her non-showbiz boyfriend Philip Evangelista.
LJ is currently based in New York. She left the Philippines in September 2021 after her breakup with actor Paolo Contis was confirmed. The breakup became controversial. Paolo was accused of cheating and allegedly, his “kabit” was actress Yen Santos.
LJ and Paolo started dating in 2015 and they welcomed their daughter Summer in 2019. Two years later, their separation happened. The actor admitted in a vague statement that he cheated on the actress.
Just recently, Paolo finally admitted that he and Yen are indeed a couple now, after months of speculations about the real status of their relationship.
LJ Reyes has been silent about her love life for more than a year now. Her social media posts always feature his bonding moments with her daughter Summer and her son Aki with former partner Paulo Avelino.
On the morning of May 30 (Philippine time), the StarStruck graduate shared photos taken during the proposal that Philip did. This most probably surprised many of her social media followers.
