A content creator goes viral and delights netizens for wearing “The Little Mermaid” costume at a mall in Pampanga.
Alongside the success of Disney’s live adaptation of “The Little Mermaid” at the box office, a content creator named Juarlito Power brought some mermaid magic to a mall in Pampanga, Philippines, much to the amusement of netizens.
Juarlito took on the role of Ariel, the beloved mermaid princess, in a fun-filled performance, accompanied by fellow content creators Junjun Salarzon as Ursula and Pixie Valmadrid as Prince Eric.
“The Little Mermaid deleted scene,” Juarlito humorously captioned his TikTok post, capturing the attention of social media users.
Unexpectedly, Juarlito revealed, “Kaloka ‘di namin expected lahat yun. Bago itong ‘Little Mermaid’ concert namin, nag-concert na kami ng ‘Bang Bang’ nila Junjun, Pixie, and ako dun sa SM Clark then naisip namin ulit na mag-perform ala Little Mermaid ang atake kasi viral ‘tong movie na ‘to and take note mga ate walang practice yan! Kakapalan lang talaga ng fez ang puhunan namin,”
When asked about his reaction to the positive reception from the audience, Juarlito expressed his delight, stating, “Siyempre po natuwa ang mga ‘kween’ kasi marami pa lang natutuwa sa’min kaya humanda pa kayo sa susunod naming mga paandar! Singit ko lang po, ‘dun pala sa mga bad comments na nababasa namin, maloka lang kayo sa amin.”

Juarlito also amusingly shared that he feels a real-life connection to the Disney princess Ariel, explaining, “Nasa sinapupunan pa lang ako feeling ko sirena na talaga ako. Ang similarities naman namin ni ate mo Ariel ay parehas lang kaming maganda.”
Power, along with his friends, added a touch of enchantment to a mall in Pampanga by reenacting scenes from “The Little Mermaid.” Their impromptu performance, inspired by the viral Disney movie, delighted netizens and earned them widespread admiration.
