COVID-19 positivity rate in Metro Manila down to 25.2%
MANILA, Philippines — The seven-day COVID-19 positivity rate in Metro Manila has decreased to 25.2% from the previous week’s 26.1%, Octa Research fellow Dr. Guido David said on Monday
“It looks like the trend has peaked. Hospital occupancy also decreased from 29.7% to 28.8% (over the same period),” David said.
Despite this, Metro Manila’s COVID-19 positivity rate is still five times higher than the World Health Organization’s ideal threshold of only 5%.
