Senator Chiz Escudero has this answered when he was asked about his supposed marital problem with his wife fashion icon Heart Evangelista and the recent teasing that he received from his fellow Senators.

To recall, the rumored marital problem involving Heart and Chiz started to circulate last year after the Kapuso star eliminated the Escudero surname on her Instagram page. She also shared cryptic posts about going through challenges and netizens noticed in her photos that she was not wearing her wedding and engagement rings.

Just recently, Heart has been sharing again photos with her husband and netizens easily picked it up as a sign of their reconciliation. In a recent interview on Headstart, based on the article in Inquirer, Chiz Escudero was asked about the rumored rift between him and his wife.

“We face daily challenges whether with family, with marriage, with work or even your own personal health,” the lawmaker said. However, he did not elaborate on this.

Sen. Chiz that he has been private when it comes to his personal life and he will maintain to be. “My public life has always been separate from my private life. If I did not speak about my private life before, I will not be breaking that by doing so now,” he said.

When it comes to the teasing that he received during a recent Senate Session from his fellow Senators Grace Poe, Migz Zubiri, Joel Villanueva, and Loren Legarda, the husband of Heart Evangelista had an amusing response.

“Patawarin nalang natin sila dahil hindi nila nalalaman ang kanilang sinasabi,” Chiz Escudero said, adding that his fellow Senators were just “nangangantiyaw” because they haven’t seen him for a long time.
