Kapamilya actress Janella Salvador shared that she received a “tinapa” gift from a fan and this made her wonder, and this is the explanation behind that.

Janella is one of the most popular actresses of her generation. She is now being admired for her portrayal of the iconic villain character Valentina in the Kapamilya series Darna. When her character in the series was seen wearing a “green Darna” costume, fans were surprised and got excited. With her popularity, it is just normal that fans would express admiration for her and sometimes would send gifts to her.

However, a gift that she received just recently made her confused. In a Twitter post, she shared a photo of a “tinapa” or smoked fish and her selfie with the caption: “I am confusion.” This was given to her during a mall show in Bataan.

In the caption of her post, the actress asked the “vadengs” to explain to her why she was gifted with a “tinapa.” Janella clarified that she “loves tinapa.” “Hindi ko lang inexpect na isda yung bubungad sakin when I unwrapped the crepe paper with a ribbon. Excited to fry this litol fishy. Tankoo!” she wrote in a tweet answering a Twitter post that a fan shared. The said gan is Lira and she suggested what the actress could do with the fish.

In the following tweets, Lira explained why she decide to give Janella Salvador, as well as Jane de Leon tinapa. The fan said that it was a souvenir since Bataan is her “baluarte.” Smoked fish is one of the delicacies in the said province. Lira also shared that she already explained this to the actress through chat.
