Andrea Torres Reveals Her Talent Fee When She Was Just An “Extra”

Kapuso actress Andrea Torres revealed that during her “extra” days, she only received this amount for her talent fee.

Andrea had a humble beginning in the entertainment industry. Just like many actresses, she also went through a lot of auditions and got rejected many times. With her talent and beauty, she was able to continue dreaming of a career in showbiz until she reached her current status in the industry.

In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, the actress did a lot of “small roles” or “extra talent” in different projects. At that time, she said that she would just receive P500 for her talent fee. Because of this, there were times when her parents would scold her.

There were also several times that she got rejected in auditions. However, they made these rejections her motivation to do better next time in order for her to catch the attention of the directors.

“It took me a long time to get to a comfortable place. Kaya I’m always on my toes, I treat each project as an audition for the next one,” Andrea Torres shared.

With her determination and her drive to continue pursuing her dream, the actress was given her big breaks in showbiz and one of them was her portrayal of the character of Sisa in the Kapuso series Maria Clara at Ibarra.

Aside from the said top-rated historical portal drama of GMA, Andrea also made appearances in major popular projects on TV such as The Millionaire’s Wife, Alyas Robin Hood, The Better Woman, Ang Lihim Ni Annasandra, Legal Wives, and many more.
