LPA to bring rain over Vis-Min, amihan to affect E. Luzon — Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — A low pressure area (LPA) near Mindanao is expected to bring rain over several parts of the country on Tuesday, while the northeast monsoon will likewise cause rain in parts of Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

According to Pagasa’s latest weather forecast, the LPA was last spotted 285 kilometers east southeast of Davao City. It continues to have low chances of developing into a storm but its trough is expected to affect several parts of the country.
