On Friday (December 9, 2022), Jovit Baldivino passed away around 4:00 am at the age of 29. The unexpected news saddened a lot of Filipino supporters, artists and musicians.

The 29-year-old singer suffered a mild stroke on November 22, 2022 and received treatment at Batangas hospital for five days. He quickly recovered but required to take maintenance medicines for hypertension.

The doctor advised him not to sing while recuperating but he performed at a party in Batangas. He sang three (3) songs including Journey’s Faithfully and gasps for breath when he was singing the third song.

He was brought to Nazareth of Jesus Hospital and his CT scan found a blood clot in his brain which was a sign of brain aneurysm. He passed away six days after his confinement at the hospital due to stroke complications.

BIOGRAPHY

Jovit Lasin Baldivino is a Filipino singer and actor who popularized the songs Pusong Bato, Faithfully, Too Much Love Will Kill You and other hit songs he revived. He was the first winner of reality talent competition show Pilipinas Got Talent.

PERSONAL LIFE

The Pinoy singer was born on October 16, 1993 and comes from a poor family in Batangas. Jovit used to sell siomai to help the financial necessities of their family and to support his studies. He studied Criminology at Batangas State University.

CAREER

Baldivino joined the first season of Pilipinas Got Talent and wins the prize of 2 million pesos. He started to record songs and work with other artists in the music industry.

OTHER DETAILS

According to the reports, he married Camille Ann Miguel. He has two daughters, Zody and Akeaya from his previous relationships with Laurice Khaye Bermillo and Shara Chavez.
