Actor Diether Ocampo reacted to the possibility of having a reunion project with Optimum Star Claudine Barretto.

Diether and Claudine have worked together on several TV projects. In 1998, they were featured in the series Dahil Mahal Na Mahal Kita with Rico Yan. A year after that, the three 90s stars were featured again in one project that became a big hit, the Mula sa Puso series.

Diether and Claudine also worked together on the big screen. They did the movie Calvento Files: The Movie in 1995. Then, the movie Soltera in 1999 with the Diamond Star Maricel Soriano. In 2005, they starred in the film Nasaan Ka Man with Jericho Rosales.

During the Star Magic Christmas Party, based on the article in The Philippine Star, Diether Ocampo was asked if he is open to working again with Claudine Barretto. “Of course, why not?” the actor answered.

However, Diether said that it is beyond their control and that Claudine should be asked about this. “Again, it’s a wishful thinking. Nasa kanila ‘yan. Kami naman anytime, ready to go. ‘Pag may aksyon, let’s go,” he added.

Currently, Diether is part of the new Kapamilya series The Iron Heart featuring the tandem of Richard Gutierrez and Sue Ramirez. The seasoned actor also shared his thoughts about the evolution of Star Magic, the ABS-CBN’s talent management firm that handled his career as well for many years.

“Maraming nangyaring evolution. Being part of it is such an honor. ‘Yung makita mong lumaki ng ganito ‘yung Star Magic, hindi mo matatawaran, maraming natulungan, marami pang matutulungan,” Diether Ocampo said.

Meanwhile, in a recent Instagram post, Claudine Barretto shared that she was hospitalized. Eventually, she shared that she underwent thigh surgery.
