Actor Jake Cuenca allegedly got drunk and sobbed so hard in Europe after his breakup with actress Kylie Verzosa.
In a recent interview, Jake admitted that he can’t still fully talk about his breakup with Kylie. He said that when they were together, thoughts of settling down were already in his mind as he can say things with finality concerning their relationship.
However, the unexpected breakup came and this devastated him. He even shared a crying photo that received empathy from those who understand what he was going through.
Jake said that it will probably take him a year and a half before he can say that he has moved on and he is far from that. In a recent article by entertainment columnist Jun Lalin in Abante, he shared an incident that will prove that it takes a while before Jake Cuenca can move on from a heartbreak.
The said incident happened in Europe when Jake attended an event that his ex-girlfriend also attended. Lalin did not reveal the identity of the said ex-girlfriend of Jake.
“Nang tanungin daw si Jake kung okey lang ba sa kanya na magkasama sila ng kanyang ex-girlfriend sa event na ‘yon at kung kaya na ba talaga niya, nag-yes naman siya. Pero ang ending nga, naging emotional na si Jake nang magkasama na sila ng ex-girlfriend niya,” the showbiz writer shared.
After that, Jake got drunk and became so emotional. Because of that, he was not able to attend the event that he was supposed to attend. The columnist said that close friends of the actor know that it is really hard for him to move on from a breakup.
Jun Lalin added that press people like him can attest to Jake’s caring personality. “Kahit naman sa mga entertainment press na ka-close niya, nagke-care siya. Sobrang bait din ni Jake!” the writer said.
Meanwhile, in an article that was published in August, Kylie Verzosa said that she is not yet ready to enter into a new relationship after her breakup with Jake Cuenca.
