Miss Earth 2022 Winner Is South Korea’s Mina Sue Choi 

Meet South Korea’s Mina Sue Choi, Miss Earth 2022 grand winner.

MISS EARTH 2022 – Mina Sue Choi of Korea was crowned Miss Earth 2022 at the Cove Manila, Okada Manila, on Tuesday, November 29.

After two years, the Miss Earth 2022 pageant has been held physically. In the past two years, the competition was held online and this year, it was held at the Cove Manila, Okada Manila, Parañaque City.

Over 80 international candidates have joined including Jenny Ramp of the Philippines. The country’s representative finishes in the Top 20. she failed to secure a spot in the top 12. So far, the country got four Miss Earth crowns through Karla Henry in 2008, Jamie Herrell in 2014, Angelia Ong in 2015, and Karen Ibasco in 2017.

This year’s winner is Mina Sue Choi of South Korea.

Tailing her are:

  • Miss Air 2022 – Sheridan Mortlock of Australia
  • Miss Water 2022 – Nadeen Ayoub of Palestine 
  • Miss Fire 2022 – Andrea Arroyave of Colombia

Miss Earth 2021 Destiny Wagner of Belize passed the crown to South Korean beauty. She is the first Korean to win the pageant.

The Miss Earth pageant is considered among the major pageants of the world along with Miss Universe, Miss World, and Miss International. The competition is distinguished for giving attention to certain environmental issues and encouraging social responsibility.

This year’s pageant is organized by Philippines-based Carousel Productions.
