Over P102,000 ‘shabu’ seized in Naga City

LEGAZPI CITY —Police seized more than P102,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) and marijuana from four suspected drug traders in separate operations in Naga City, Camarines Sur province, early Monday, Nov. 28.

In a report, Senior Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, Naga City police spokesperson, said Micheal Remoroso, 24, and Christian Augustine Macapagal, 32, were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Dinaga at 1:150 a.m.

Macapagal was included in the illegal drugs watch list.

The police confiscated 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000 during the operation.

At around 4:20 p.m., Edmar Labalan, 20, and Carl Ivan Poleta, 22, were also arrested at a checkpoint in the same village.

Bongon said they were flagged down by authorities for not wearing helmets and arrested for possession of a plastic sachet containing suspected dried marijuana leaves, a pipe, and a lighter.

The suspects were in the custody of the police for proper disposition. INQ
