Netizen Posts Bundles of Copper Wires He Collected Over the Years

A male netizen has shared the photo of copper wires they have collected throughout the years: “Instant 13th month pay”.

Copper has been used in electrical wiring since the invention of the electromagnet and the telegraph in the 1820s. It is the electrical conductor in many categories of electrical wiring used in power generation, power transmission, power distribution, telecommunications, and countless types of electrical equipment.

In the Philippines, some Filipino people were collecting pull-out or scrap copper wires, which could be sold in junk shops. Copper can be sold in huge amounts, which is a good source of income.

The Facebook page “GO Philippines” has shared a photo of numerous copper wires placed in different containers. The wires were being prepared for selling. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.

In the photo, it can be seen that a massive amount of copper wires, which were estimated to weigh a few kilograms are placed in various containers. The wires would probably make a lot of money once sold.

According to the uploader, the copper wires came from their father who works as an electrician. The family starts to collect and gather the copper wires a few years ago or since 2016.
