Maja Salvador Dedicates Post to her ‘The Iron Heart’ Character

Maja Salvador ends her stint in the new Kapamilya series

Actress Maja Salvador dedicated a recent post to her character Cassandra in the Kapamilya series The Iron Heart featuring actor Richard Gutierrez.

In the said series, Richard’s leading lady is Sue Ramirez but Maja has a very special participation. Her character is very vital for Richard’s character development. In a previous interview, Maja said that she immediately said “yes” to this project.

Maja is now a freelance artist after she left Star Magic, the talent management firm of ABS-CBN. From that, she was able to work with TV5 and she is currently one of the hosts of the Kapuso noontime show Eat Bulaga.

However, when she was offered to do a special role in The Iron Heart, the actress did not hesitate. In the episode that was aired on November 25, Cassandra had her final hug with Apollo, Richard’s character.

In her Instagram post on November 26, Maja Salvador shared the behind-the-scenes of that scene with Richard Gutierrez. The actress featured the song Laging Naroon Ka by Soul Diva Jaya.

Maja also cited the lyrics of the song that fits the storyline of her character. She shared that when this character was pitched to her, this song was included and it really helped her.

“Nung pitching ng character ni Cassandra sinabi nila sakin na itong “Laging Naroon ka” ang kanta ni Cassandra… sobrang nakatulong sakin sa pagbuo ko sa kung paano ko yayakapin si Cassandra…” the actress shared.

Maja Salvador expressed gratitude to everyone she worked with on this project. “Maraming Salamat Kapamilya,” she wrote. The actress included the red, green, and blue heart emojis in this, the color of the Kapamilya network.

In the comment section, Richard Gutierrez also thanked the actress. Jake Cuenca, who is one of the cast members applauded Cassandra.
