Jay Sonza Compares DSWD Sec Erwin Tulfo Colorful Life to Mang Kanor
Veteran journalist Jay Sonza shared the “colorful life” of Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) secretary Erwin Tulfo.
The seasoned journalist used social media to share the DSWD secretary’s colorful existence. Because of his numerous offspring from various women, he even likened the former journalist to “Mang Kanor.”
The secretary has 10 children in total, four of whom are women, according to Tulfo’s biography. Additionally, it made mention of the claimed secretary’s citizenship.
“Makulay pala ang mundo ni Sek Erwin. Sundalong Kano. Convicted. Matulis. Mang Kanor din. Maraming panganay. Wala ng hahanapin pa,” Sonza said in his post.
Tulfo’s allegedly “colorful existence” came to light after Surigao del Norte 2nd District Representative Johnny Pimentel discovered that the DSWD Sec has numerous children by various women. Even Pimentel inquired as to if he and their mothers get along well.
“I suppose you had a very colorful love life Secretary and there were four women or the mothers of your children. Are you still on good terms with the mothers?” Pimental asked Tulfo.
Tulfo noted that he does, however, get along well with the moms of his kids. If Tulfo meets another woman, would that not “interfere with Tulfo’s work?” the lawmaker said.
Tulfo, though, asserts that his skepticism about women is only a remnant of his history. He said that although he makes errors when he is young, he is not ashamed of them and that he will continue to make changes as he gets older.
“When we’re young, we make mistakes, but I’m not ashamed to say I made mistakes and from that mistake, you have to make corrections and adjust and you have to bring it all the way until you grow old,” said Tulfo.
