Bongbong Marcos set to meet Canada’s Trudeau in Cambodia

 

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is set to meet Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at the sidelines of the 40th and 41st Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summits and Related Summits in Cambodia.

The President himself made the announcement on Wednesday, as he is en route to Phnom Penh.

“I just made a schedule with Trudeau. I’ve never met with him, so I supposed it’s just going to be an introductory one,” he told reporters in an interview.

He also mentioned a possible meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron about nuclear power.
