Over P3 million ‘shabu’ seized in Naga City


LEGAZPI CITY — Four suspected drug personalities yielded more than P3 million worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) in separate buy-bust operations in Naga City in Camarines Sur province on Monday night (November 7).

Police Senior Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, Naga City police spokesperson, said Nerissa Belga, 40, and her live-in partner, Gian Carlo Banzagalez, 26, were arrested in Barangay (village) Concepcion Pequea at around 11:40 p.m. after they sold a sachet or 50 grams of shabu for P150,000 to an undercover agent.

During the body search, the authorities also recovered nine sachets of shabu while the other six weighing 405 grams were wrapped with packing tape.
