Motorcycle Rider Dies After Accidentally Hit by Police Mobile

A motorcycle rider passed away after he was accidentally hit by a police mobile in San Carlos, Negros Occidental.

Nowadays, road accident has been one of the most common traffic problems not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. It usually causes injuries and even death to the victims.

The Philippine government is already implementing stricter rules and regulations to prevent such incidents. Unfortunately, there are still a lot of hard-headed and reckless motorists violating the traffic policy.

Traffic violators will face corresponding sanctions and penalties depending on their offense.

The motorcycle rider named Roy Vallente died after a police mobile accidentally hits his motorcycle along the road. The rider overshoots into a sewer and suffered serious injuries, which leads to his untimely death.

According to the police authorities, the police mobile tried to overtake a tricycle and counterflowed on the opposite lane. The driver did not notice the rider, which resulted in a powerful collision.

Currently, the police mobile driver named John Nieves is detained at the police station. Nieves who works as a government employee of San Carlos City used the mobile before it will be turned over to the police authorities.

The driver will face charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide. Nieves also refused to give a statement regarding the incident.
