Another mixed martial artist wants to test the mettle of boxing legend Manny Pacquiao.

American Bobb Sapp, also an ex-football player, is reportedly challenging Pacquiao to a boxing match, with the potential bout being discussed with business man Chavit Singson.

The 48-year-old Sapp stands at 6-foot-4 and holds an MMA record of 12 wins and 20 losses.

Nicknamed “The Beast,” Sapp’s last match though was in September 2018 where he scored a unanimous decision win over Abdelrahman Shalan in Rizin Fighting Federation in Japan. He fights as a super heavyweight.

Pacquiao, 43, however, has an upcoming charity fight against South Korean martial artist DK Yoo in December in Seoul, South Korea.

The eight-division world boxing champion formally hung up his gloves after his defeat at the hands of Yordenis Ugas last August 2021.

He finished his professional boxing career with 62 wins on top of 39 knockouts, eight losses and two draws. (MB Sports)
