BBP 2022 first runner-up Herlene Budol has this statement for Miss Manila.

HERLENE BUDOL – Beauty queen Herlene Budol speaks about issues versus Miss Manila that emerged again online.

In a previous article, Miss Manila Alexandra Abdon and “Hipon Girl” Herlene Budol got themselves engaged in a heated conversation on national television. It started when Hipon Girl revealed that Miss Manila rudely treated her in an event.

Abdon was Miss Universe Philippines 2020 candidate but she failed to secure any place. And now, it seems like the tides have turned. The woman she one called will never have a chance in a pageant won first runner-up in Binibining Pilipinas 2022 pageant.

She was also a crowd’s favorite. She won seven special awards such as Manila Bulletin Readers’ Choice Award, Binibining Shein, JAG Queen, Binibining Pizza Hut 2022, Binibining Silka, Binibining Kumu, and Binibining World Balance. 

With her win, many people revived her issue with former Miss Manila. Herlene said that she doesn’t have any hard feelings toward Abdon. The issues happened two years ago already. And recalling it all, despite the explanation of Abdon saying that the rude things she said were all part of a script, Hipon revealed that she was not informed about it.

“Nasaktan po ako, siyempre buong pagkatao ko iyon sinabi niyang… pati nanay ko dinamay niya pa, e,” she said.

Accordingly, what happened to her is God’s way of showing to people His ways. She doesn’t have any plans of joining any pageant but God led her to where she is now.
