Motorbiker dies in Quezon road crash

LUCENA CITY – A motorcycle rider, who was not wearing a helmet, died in a road accident on Saturday in San Narciso, Quezon.
The Quezon police reported that Rizaldy Cajutay, 29, lost control of his motorcycle long the provincial road in Barangay (village) Abuyon at around 7:30 p.m.

Cajutay was thrown off the vehicle, landed on the ground, and sustained head injuries.
He was taken to San Narciso Municipal Hospital where he eventually expired, police said.

Wearing crash helmets for all riders of two-wheeled motorized vehicles is mandated under Republic Act No. 10054, otherwise known the “Motorcycle Helmet Act of 2009.”
