FERNANDO ZOBEL DE AYALA – The business tycoon paid tribute to the late former President Fidel V. Ramos who recently died last July 31.

Last July 31, former Pres. Fidel V. Ramos died at the age of 94 years old. His shocking demise was confirmed by his family who sought privacy then but assured the public that they will be posting details about his wake and burial.

Ramos or also commonly called FVR is known to the public as someone who is physically active. He is even known for his iconic jump during the People’s Power Revolution which he does every anniversary of the event.

Former Pres. Fidel V. Ramos’ cause of death is COVID-19. Several high-profile politicians expressed their sympathy and grief due to the unexpected passing of the former President. Many people paid tribute to him.

Former Pres. Ramos is a former chief of the Philippine Constabulary, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) chief-of-staff, and secretary of National Defense. He was the second president of the Philippines after the People’s Power Revolution which ousted the late former Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Sr. from his position.

Ramos served as the country’s chief executive from 1992 to 1998. One of the latest positions he served as the envoy of the Philippines to China in 2016.

Former Pres. Fidel V. Ramos’ funeral is set today, August 9, 2022. Prior to his burial, several known personalities paid tribute to him including business tycoon Fernando Zobel de Ayala.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Fernando Zobel de Ayala stressed that former Pres. Fidel V. Ramos has established solid foundations for the Philippines. Here’s what the business tycoon said:

“President Ramos established solid foundations for the country’s future. I would also like to honor him for his remarkable foresight, integrity, and resolute will to improve the lives of all Filipinos,”
