Marco Gumabao and Kylie Verzosa are already “exes”

Actor Marco Gumabao was asked about the possibility of having a romantic relationship with his Baby Boy, Baby Girl leading lady Kylie Verzosa.

At a recent media conference for this movie by director Jason Paul Laxamana, based on the article in PEP, Marco shared that when he read the script, he was surprised by the theme of the movie. The film is about “sugar dating” or having “sugar mommy” or “sugar daddy” as a partner with the intention to alleviate one’s financial status.

On the other hand, it amused Marco also because he acknowledged the fact that this situation happens in real life. He also admitted that he felt excitement because he will be able to have the chance to put himself in the shoes of sugar babies.

“Kung paano tumatakbo ang mundo nila at kung paano sila nakikipagtransaksyon sa mga sugar daddies o sugar mommies nila. Nung nabasa ko, very excited at very shocked, sa totoo lang,” Marco Gumabao said.

Since the actor has been single for a long time now and Kylie has broken up with Jake Cuenca, they were asked if there is a possibility that they will end up together. Marco laughed at this. He said that this movie is probably the 6th or 7th project that he had with Kylie.

In those past projects that they had, he and Kylie played the characters of ex-lovers. “Kumbaga, hindi pa kami nagiging kami, mag-ex na agad kami, so pinangunahan na namin yung projects namin,” he enthused. In a serious tone, Marco Gumabao said that his friendship with Kylie Verzosa started when she won Miss International back in 2016. From that, they became really close.

The actor added that as of now, he is more focused on his career and he thinks Kylie also has this priority in her life at the moment.
