Lovi Poe launches her Production Company C’est Lovi Productions
Lovi Poe is taking a different role in the entertainment industry
Actress Lovi Poe just recently announced that she launched her own production company and it is called C’est Lovi Productions.
Lovi has done different kinds of roles already in movies and teleseryes. She has a new series Flower of Evil with Piolo Pascual and Paulo Avelino. Aside from this, she is currently promoting her movie Sleep With Me with Janine Gutierrez.
With her hectic schedule as an actress and product endorser, Lovi is taking another step in the entertainment industry. She will start the job as a producer also. In her recent Instagram post, the actress shared a screenshot of an article from Deadline. It was about her newly-launched production company.
The article stated that the Filipino actress aims to bring Filipino stories and artists to the international market. Lovi’s company has already started some projects already like Lady Luck in which she will star and will be directed by Niall Johnson. They are currently in pre-production.
It was also stated in the article that Montgomery Blencowe, the boyfriend of Lovi Poe, will be her partner as well in the company as an executive. In the caption of her post, the Pinay actress expressed her excitement to finally reached this level.
“It’s been a passion of mine to be in the business of making films in front of the camera for a number of years already, and as I continue to do that I’d like to be behind the camera too and develop projects from the beginning,” she said.
She also said that she wants to work with people with the same passion that she has and together they will help Filipino films to be recognized abroad. Lovi Poe also said that she hopes through this, she can continue the legacy of her father The King Fernando Poe Jr.
“There was FPJ productions…and I hope C’est Lovi Productions can continue that legacy, and bring Filipino stories—especially those independent, lesser known but equally good ones—internationally,” the Kapamilya star said.
