Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards revealed what keeps him motivated in continuing to take big steps in his showbiz career.

Alden has been in the industry for more than a decade now and his career continues to rise. He is now one of the sought-after leading men in the Kapuso network. He also had the chance to work with Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo in a movie that was indeed a blockbuster hit.

Aside from the small and the big screen, Alden is also conquering the concert stage. He is set to do a series of shows in the US as part of his ForwARd concert. The previous concert that he did was just virtual and so this upcoming music event is more exciting for him.

“The energy and the good vibes that you get from the people watching you live are different from, you know, when they’re not there,” Alden Richards said during an interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star.

For his entire years in showbiz, Alden has been allotting a portion of his earnings to support charitable activities. Amid the pandemic, he worked on establishing his non-profit AR Foundation which is mainly focused on supporting the financial needs of poor but determined students.

The actor expressed gratitude to brands he is endorsing for taking part in his charitable endeavor. “The thing about the (Forward) concert, it’s really for a cause. It’s really for the children who want to go to school, and I’m a really big advocate of it. So, I’m really glad that TM and I are on the same page. Ang sarap lang makahanap ng partner brands that have the same advocacy as yours,” he said.

Early this year, Alden Richards said that he was able to support at least 14 scholars and was able to produce two college graduates. For the next school year, he is aiming to increase this number. The fulfillment that he gets in doing charitable activities keeps him motivated in doing his showbiz engagements.

Alden said that seeing kids fulfilling their dreams and prosper in life is so priceless for him. He added that no material thing can give that sense of fulfillment.
