PIOLO PASCUAL – Kapamilya network’s ultimate heartthrob Piolo Pascual reveals truth on speculations about him retiring soon.
We are the decisions we make and it can be recalled in the past years that Kapamilya network’s ultimate heartthrob Piolo Pascual seemed to have decided on something. He once said that he wanted to retire before 40. He mentioned he wanted to but it has always been postponed.
He talked to Direk Cathy Garcia Molina about this claiming he’ll retire before 40. He said this but looking at it now, he feels it was claimed out of being burnt out or a part of a mid-life crisis, being too loaded up with work and everything.
In a recent press conference, already 45 years old, he said, “I love what I do and being in this business gives me meaning so I guess I was being immature, feeling burnt out back then. You can call it a midlife crisis because you’re too loaded up with work.”
He stressed this is his passion and would refuse to speak again about retirement because he will do this for as long as he can as per his statement. He added that at this point in his life, he would want to continue what he’s doing.
“As long as I feel that I’m needed in this business or there is something that I can contribute and I will stay on,” he said. He appreciates being in the entertainment industry and sharing his life with people.
Pascual is starring in Flower Of Evil, the Philippine adaptation of the South Korean hit series of the same title with new Kapamilya star Lovi Poe as his leading lady.
