TNT and San Miguel Beer arranged a semifinal showdown in the PBA 3×3 Third Conference grand finals after disposing their respective foes in the knockout stage Sunday at Robinsons Place Manila.

Almond Vosotros caught fire midway in TNT’s quarterfinal game against Barangay Ginebra to prevail, 21-14, and advance in the next round.

 Wendell Comboy meanwhile, hit the game-winning deuce as the Beermen survived Platinum Karaoke in overtime, 10-8, in a low-scoring match in the other quarterfinal pairing.

The two other semifinals match ups between Purefoods TJ Titans and Limitless Appmasters, and Meralco Bolts versus Sista Super Sealers are still being played as of presstime.

Vosotros, the two-time scoring champion, scored nine of the Tropang Giga’s last 11 points, including six straight at one stretch that gave his side a 15-5 lead.

Vosotros finished with 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting from ‘2’ while Gryann Mendoza added six, Samboy De Leon with three including the game-winning 2, and Lervin Flores with two to round out the scoring for TNT.

Earlier, Limitless App, Barangay Ginebra, Platinum Karaoke, and Sista Super Sealers completed the quarterfinals cast after topping their respective groups during the pool play.

The Appmasters (2-0) and Kings advance to the next round from Pool A, while Platinum Karaoke (2-0) and Sista (1-1) made it from Pool B.

Cavitex (Pool A) and Terrafirma (Pool B), which played with just a three-man roster, were both eliminated after failing a winless campaign in the pool play.

The four joined seeded teams TNT, Meralco, San Miguel, and Purefoods in the knockout quarterfinals.
