Fire hits residential area in Quiapo

MANILA, Philippines — A fire broke out in a residential area along Bilibid Viejo Street in Quiapo, Manila, on Monday evening, officers from the city’s Bureau of Fire Department said.

According to Manila’s Bureau of Fire Department, a first alarm has been raised for the blaze that started before 8:00 p.m.

Photos taken by volunteers show that houses made of light materials were the most affected by the fire.
