4 suspected drug pushers busted in Rizal town, yield P241K shabu

LUCENA CITY – Police arrested four more suspected drug pushers on Friday and Saturday (June 24 and 25) and seized over P241,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in two buy-bust operations in San Mateo town in Rizal province.

The arrested suspects were identified as Mike Angelo Casas, Maria Dela Rosa, Eduardo Sese Jr., and Noer Nora, the Police Regional Office 4A reported Saturday.

Anti-narcotics agents collared Casas, Dela Rosa, and Sese around 8:48 p.m. on Friday in Barangay (village) Silangan.

The suspects were found in possession of 15 plastic sachets of meth weighing 28.7 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P195,160.

Four hours later, members of the local drug enforcement unit also busted Nora around 12:59 a.m. Saturday in Barangay Ampid 1. The suspect yielded six sachets of shabu with a DDB value of P46,230.

All suspects were detained and are facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165 for possession and selling of dangerous drugs.

On June 22, San Mateo policemen also arrested two drug suspects, both “high-value” targets, who yielded P448,800 worth of shabu.
