Korina Sanchez shared this cute video of her husband and kids

Seasoned broadcaster-host Korina Sanchez shared why her husband former Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Mar Roxas is not in politics now.

Roxas ran for president in 2016 but President Rodrigo Duterte won the elections. After that, the veteran politician has become inactive in the political scene. Many people anticipated that he would run in 2019 and this year but aside from endorsing the presidential candidacy of Vice President Leni Robredo, Mar Roxas has not done anything grand when it comes to his political career.

During the Father’s Day celebration, Korina Sanchez shared a video of her husband and their twins Pepe and Pilar. The seasoned broadcaster-host was telling their kids to greet their Papi. Mar Roxas and the twins even did the biting game.

In the caption of her post, Korina shared the reason why her husband is no longer active in politics. “A lot of people ask about why Mar isnt in politics now. I dont bother asking him because I know. Although I do remind him that he has done SO much for this country out of the best years of his life as it is. All 30 or so years in office,” she said.

Korina said that her husband is doing a more important role now in the lives of Pepe and Pilar. “So now he is again a father —- to twin 3 year old firecrackers Pepe en Pilar,” the Rated Korina host said.

She also said that even though Mar Roxas has done a lot of good things for the country and for Filipinos, his most priceless legacy is his son Paolo, as well as Pepe and Pilar. “And this is now his happiest and most important position to date,” Korina Sanchez added. She also included the hashtag “Best Dad.”
