4 drug pushers nabbed in Cavite

LUCENA CITY—Anti-narcotics agents arrested four drug suspects in a buy-bust operation Thursday in Bacoor City in Cavite province.

The Police Regional Office 4A reported that members of the local drug enforcement unit busted Jojo Markay, Kristofer Mariano, Michael Medina, and Howard Imperial at around 12:30 a.m. after they sold shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer in Barangay Queensrow East.

The group was in possession of eight plastic sachets of meth weighing five grams worth P34,000 in the street market.

The suspects were detained while charges of possession and trading of illegal drugs under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were readied.
