He said that he was pitching a movie to Viva Films and it is about the last 72 hours of the Marcoses inside the Palace. Direk Darryl even said that the information was from the “one reliable source.”

Just recently, the director had another teaser. He shared a photo taken during the meeting that he had with Viva’s Boss Vic del Rosario. The screen that was behind him flashed the photo of Ruffa Gutierrez as the actress who will portray Imelda Marcos.

Following this, the daughter of Eddie Gutierrez and Annabelle Rama shared her throwback photos with the former First Lady. “Through the years with the one and only, Madame Imelda Romualdez Marcos (red heart emoji),” the actress wrote in the caption of her post.

The last photo that Ruffa shared was a screenshot of Direk Darry’s post. Family, friends, and fans of Ruffa congratulated her on this upcoming project. Her brother Mond Gutierrez said, “Congrats on the new role!!!” while for former actress Cristina Gonzalez-Romualdez, this role is “so bagay” for Ruffa.

Popular TV and events host Tim Yap had this striking comment. “Told you one day you’ll really do this,” he said. Actress-model Sarah Lahbati, the sister-in-law of Ruffa Gutierrez, said that this project is “exciting.” Fans of the actress also showed support for her for this upcoming movie about the Marcoses.
