Ogie Diaz said that Maymay Entrata should have done these things

Comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz shared his advice on the career of Kapamilya star Maymay Entrata.

Aside from acting, Ogie is proficient when it comes to handling talents and helping them navigate in the entertainment industry. It is known to many that Ogie was one of the many factors that the career of Vice Ganda and Liza Soberano skyrocketed.

In a recent episode of Ogie’s Showbiz Update vlog, co-hosts Mama Loi shared the news about Maymay’s return to the Philippines after studying acting, singing, and dancing in Canada.

With this, as a seasoned talent manager, Ogie Diaz shared pieces of advice for the young star. “Kung ako manager ni Maymay, establish ko muna na siya ay nakakatawa,” he said. For Ogie, the young star should have done more comic roles so that this will image will be instilled in the minds of the people.

“Sana nag-iwan muna siya ng marka na siya ay kikay-kikay,” Ogie stressed adding that people will eventually commend the versatility of Maymay. However, the talent manager pointed out that there is one image that should be the mark of Maymay before the focus will go to her other talents such as singing, dancing, and modeling.

Ogie also shared that Maymay was known for her funny image when she joined Pinoy Big Brother and so this should have been maintained after the reality show through several series or movies. Once she has established her name as a comedienne, she could level up to modeling, the talent manager said.

“Parang nahati yung pagiging komedyana niya, pagiging aktres niya, dahil nagmodel-model na siya. So, medyo nag-agaw yung pagmomodel at yung pag-arte niya,” he said.

However, Ogie Diaz said, “Eh, syempre, hindi naman ako manager ni Maymay, mahadera lang siguro ako na nagsu-suggest sa kaniya.” On the other hand, he said that this is just his suggestion and that Maymay Entrata still has the last say when it comes to what her heart makes her happy.
