BONGBONG MARCOS – The camp of president-elect Ferdinand Marcos Jr. announced the venue of his upcoming inauguration.
The results of the Elections 2022 made former Senator Bongbong Marcos the elected president of the Philippines. He ran under Partido Federal ng Pilipinas and his campaign centered on calling for unity among the Filipinos.
The presidential bid of Marcos Jr. was backed by several political groups and national and local government officials. His candidacy sparked a lot of rumors surrounding the regime of his late father, his personal background, and their family’s alleged ill-gotten wealth but all petitions filed against his bid were junked by the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
A few days ago, during the joint session of the Senate and the House of Representatives, the leaders of the two (2) chambers raised the hands of former Sen. Bongbong Marcos as the elected president of the Philippines.
Then, the camp of president-elect Marcos did not release details about his inauguration saying they only agreed to talk about it and start planning after he will be proclaimed as the next president of the country.
Recently, the camp of president-elect Bongbong Marcos released an update as they announced the venue of the inauguration of the incoming president. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the event will be held at the National Museum of the Philippines.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) said that the plans regarding Marcos Jr.’s inauguration may still change depending on his camp and the Presidential Security Group (PSG). He will sit as the 17th president of the Republic of the Philippines on June 30.
