Heartless Suspects Stab Truck Helper While Eating Porridge at Eatery in Quezon

A truck helped has passed away after he was stabbed by heartless suspects while eating porridge in Quezon Province.

Nowadays, the rate of criminality continues to increase not only in the Philippines but also in various regions all around the world. The government and the authorities are imposing stricter policies but crimes are still happening.

On Thursday (May 26, 2022), the police authorities reported that the truck helper has passed away after suffering a stab wound in his chest. He was rushed to the nearest hospital for immediate treatment and medication but died on the way.

The 28-year-old victim identified as Reymark Mendoza together with his two colleagues was eating porridge inside an eatery along the Maharlika Highway in Sariaya town in Quezon province on Wednesday (May 25, 2022) when the incident happened.

The suspects identified as Cesar Ibañez and John Mark Vincent Cueto entered the eatery at Barangay Sampaloc 2 and started a fistfight with the victim’s group without any provocation, according to the report by Quezon police.

The eatery owner named Wilbert Landicho intervene and tried to stop the commotion inside the establishment but Cesar Ibañez who is wielding a knife stabbed Mendoza in his chest. Landicho also suffered a wound on his right arm.

The helper was brought to the Greg Hospital in the town center but passed away before he reached the healthcare center. The eatery owner also received medical treatment from another hospital.

Unfortunately, the suspects were able to escape after the incident. The police authorities launched a manhunt operation to arrest the suspects.
