Cow Accidentally Kicks Motorcycle Rider Who Died After Run Over by Truck

ROAD ACCIDENT – A motorcycle rider in La Union passed away after he was accidentally kicked by a cow and gets hit by a truck.

Nowadays, road accident has been one of the most common traffic problems not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. It usually causes injuries and even death to the victims.

Recently, a motorcycle rider traveling along Bauan, La Union passed away after he was kicked by a cow and run over by a trailer truck. The poor rider has been declared dead-on-the spot due to the incident.

According to the police investigation, the rider stopped beside the road to give way to farmers pulling a cow besides the road. Unfortunately, the cow went berserk and accidentally kicked the motorist.

The incident sent the rider to the opposite lane and got hit by an approaching trailer truck, according to Bauang Police Station chief Police Major Cresencio Abila Jr.

“Nung natapatan ng rider itong baka na nasa gilid ng highway, nagulat ito (baka) at yung ang nag-cause ng pagkagulat ng baka, natadyakan niya itong rider,” Abila said.

The rider’s family, truck driver, and cow owner have already made an agreement and settled the issue. Abila also advised the cow and carabao owner to observe precautionary measures on public roads to avoid accidents.

“Sa mga nag-aalaga ng baka o kalabaw, kung maari ay idaan na lang sa may bukid yung ating mga alaga. Huwag na rin tayong maglalagay ng alaga nating hayop sa gilid ng daan,” Abila added.
