Father Of Slain Maguad Siblings Asks Raffy Tulfo For Help After Court Reduces Sentence of Accused

FATHER OF SLAIN MAGUAD SIBLINGS – Cruz Maguad asked Senator-elect and broadcaster Raffy Tulfo for help after the court reduced the sentence of the accused.

One of the crimes that rocked the country last year was the Maguad siblings murder case. The brutal fate of the Crizzel Gwynn and Crizville Louise took place in the town of M’lang, North Cotabato province.

The two were found with stab wounds to the body, bruises, and traces of strangulation. The accused covered Gwynn’s head with a towel while Crizville had a gag in his mouth.

The M’lang police said the Maguad siblings received about 30 stab wounds. The Provincial Prosecutor’s Office in Kabacan filed murder charges against the two suspects adopted “Janice” and a sacristan. The two were also minors.

The alter boy had been in and out of DSWD while Janice was allegedly envious of the Maguad siblings. The sentencing of the 2 accused was recently carried out. It took place at the Justice Hall Kabacan.

In a video taken by DXND Kidapawan, the scene was intense after the parents of the Maguad siblings confronted the parent of the accused. It can be seen in the video that they could not hide their anger after the sentencing.

The mother of the victims wept because they hoped for maximum justice but due to the Juvenile Law of Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan, no heavier sentence was imposed.

The court sentenced Janice and the sacristan to 17 years in each murder case count. A total of 34 years will be required for each of the two accused.

Meanwhile, in his Facebook post, Mr. Maguad said that they will not stop so that they can get maximum justice for their children. He also wants to ask for help from Senator-elect Raffy Tulfo.

“Tulungan nyo Po ako paano Maka connect Kay sir Raffy Tulfo.baka Po matulungan nya ako,” he wrote.
