JULIA BARRETTO – Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto shares the reason why she’s been telling Joshua Garcia to not get into a relationship yet.
Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia and actress Julia Barretto were formerly a love team. Their romance eventually turned into reality but it did not last long. After two years of being together, they decided to get back to what they are before the romance and maintained a pretty decent friendship.
After the split, Julia got into a new relationship with Gerald Anderson while Joshua remained single. And in her recent interview with the King Of Talk Boy Abunda, she shared that she and Joshua have been talking. What she would accordingly tell him is not to get into a relationship with someone for now.
She believes that being in a relationship can draw a line of limitation to what he can do as an actor. Explaining why she doesn’t want her former boyfriend to be in a relationship, she said, “Sabi ko, ‘Basta huwag ka munang mag-girlfriend. Enjoy this. Enjoy what you have now.’ He’s young. He’s in his prime. He’s a brilliant actor. It’s not the time to be limited right now.”
What she really wants for him is to enjoy his time as he is in his prime. The actress also admitted that one thing she also appreciated in him is the fact that he respects her current boyfriends a lot. For her, such a gesture speaks a lot about his growth and maturity as a person and him respecting her boyfriend also means a lot to her based on the interview.
