Bongbong Marcos Thanks Toni Gonzaga, Paul Soriano For Being Part Of His Presidential Campaign
BONGBONG MARCOS – The presumptive President of the Philippines, Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., thanked Paul Soriano and his wife Toni Gonzaga for being part of his campaign.
Celebrity couple Paul Soriano and Toni Gonzaga are known supporters of former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. The film director previously revealed his blood ties with Lisa Marcos-Araneta, the wife of Bongbong.
The prominent actress elicited criticism when she hosted BBM-Sara’s proclamation rally. After the event, she resigned from her hosting stint at Kapamilya’s reality show Pinoy Big Brother.
Paul Soriano is the director behind the presidential campaign of Bongbong Marcos. Because of Toni and Paul’s political color, they are bashed. Some netizens are even canceling and mocking them.
In an interview on the FB page of Daily Tribune, the multi-award-winning director said they are not paying much attention to the negative comments because they are loved by the people close to them. He also disclosed that BBM apologized to him and his wife for the bashing that they are receiving.

In a post on his Instagram account last May 14, Paul Soriano uploaded a video of President-elect Bongbong Marcos thanking him and his wife for being part of his successful presidential campaign during the 2022 election.
In the caption of the post, he wrote: “Thank you to our President @bongbongmarcos for your generous and kind words. Grateful and honored!! #PBBM.”
Bongbong Marcos credited the ‘Ultimate Multimedia Star’ for kicking off his presidential campaign. He also described the actress as a brave and elegant woman.
“We should congratulate them for the fine work that they did. In front of me is Miss Toni Gonzaga. Sabi ko nga kanina na siya, ang nag-start ng kampanya na ito. Noong pumutok yung interview sa akin at criniticize siya, ang tapang tapang nito…
“I didn’t expect that, this elegant lady, would be able to withstand these criticisms. Sabi ko nga kay Paul ‘yung asawa mo, lahat ng problema kayang harapin.’ Nag-10 million, 11 million yung aming interview, sabi ko mukhang may pag-asa tayo, puwede na natin itakbo.
“Sinundan pa ni Paul who did our ads. Sa aking palagay, nobody can contest at malayung-malayo. Ginagaya nga eh. Di ba yung isa o dalawang ads natin ginagaya? They were that good and we kept the momentum going and the message alive,” said BBM.
