‘Mommy’, 2 others fall in Lucena drug bust
LUCENA CITY – Police arrested three drug suspects including a notorious woman peddler of shabu (crystal meth), who is known to her clients as “Mommy”, in a buy-bust operation here early Saturday.

Police Leuitenant Colonel Reynaldo Reyes, Lucena City police chief, identified the arrested suspects as Imelda Leyba, 56, and her two “runners” Jun-Jun Pabelonia and Christian Abella after they allegedly sold a sachet of shabu to a poseur buyer in Barangay (village) Ibabang Iyam at around 2:45 a.m.
Seized from the suspects were five sachets of shabu worth an estimated P24,000.

Pabelonia was also found carrying a bladed weapon when frisked by policemen.
Police said all three suspects will be facing a formal complaint for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Pabelonia will also face a complaint for possession of a bladed weapon.
