Camp of Former Sen. Bongbong Marcos Speaks on Transition Team

BONGBONG MARCOS – The camp of the presumptive president revealed the chief and members of his transition team.

Both local and national elections were held last May 9. Millions of Filipino voters were out to cast their votes for the candidates they support. The national election includes the poll for the next president, vice president, and senators of the country.

Shortly after most of the voting precincts closed on May 9, partial and unofficial results were made available by the Commission on Elections (Comelec). Partido Federal ng Pilipinas standard-bearer and former Sen. Bongbong Marcos is leading the partial and unofficial results of the presidential election.

Marcos Jr. is taking a huge lead with over 16 million votes. His camp has already announced victory after 98% of the votes have been canvassed.

Malacañang recently expressed that it has already built a transition team to ensure the smooth transition of power to the next administration. The Palace also ordered the local government units to come up with their internal transition teams for the projects’ continuation.

As for the camp of former Sen. Bongbong Marcos, they have already a transition team. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the presumptive president’s transition team is led by his spokesperson and chief of staff, Atty. Vic Rodriguez.

Representatives Anton Lagdameo and Naida Angping and South Cotabato Governor Jun Tamayo are members of the transition team of former Senator and presumptive president Bongbong Marcos. Tamayo is the national president of Partido Federal ng Pilipinas, the political party of Marcos Jr.

According to Atty. Rodriguez, they are now in the process of searching for possible nominees for the cabinet position. He stressed that the nomination and the appointment may take time and may not take place in one setting for all positions.
