Here are some updates about losing presidential candidates during the election 2022. Check out below!

ELECTION 2022 – Some updates about the presidential candidates, some conceded and some continued to fight.

The closest rivals in this year’s election are Vice President Leni Robredo and Bongbong Marcos. But the results did not look like it. They vied for the first and second spots but the vice president irrevocably stayed behind the presumptive president due to a large difference in voting numbers.

And now, with the counting almost over, some presidential candidates, out of 10 who ran, already conceded.

Here are some updates about them:

LENI ROBREDO

Her Angat Buhay advocacy will become a foundation – ‘Angat Buhay NGO’. She just recently announced this during the thanksgiving gathering of her supporters. She plans to launch the ‘widest volunteer network’ in the Philippines. But as of now, the VP has not conceded yet.

PING LACSON

Lacson’s running mate is Tito Sotto who already conceded in the vice presidential race. Lacson headed home after the obvious defeat. And in a recent post of Iwa Sotto, the partner of his son, he is now with them – his family who considers him their “hero” and “champion” despite everything.

MANNY PACQUIAO

Two days ago, Pacman, whose aim is to raise the poor people and provide them housing and better life, conceded. In his official statement after conceding, he stated, “As a boxer and an athlete, I know how to accept defeat. I just hope that even if I lost this fight, my fellow Filipinos who are suffering will win.”

ISKO MORENO

He is the candidate who aimed to end the fight between the two colors but the people have spoken. He concedes to the presumptive president and congratulated him on his formal concession. Since the counting started, Isko did not leave the 4th spot.
