Is it true that Gretchen Barretto suspends her “budget” for her younger sister?

Socialite Gretchen Barretto allegedly stopped giving P500,000 every month to Claudine Barretto because of this reason.

La Greta is known for her generosity. She initiated the giving of love boxes last year, aside from sponsoring wheelchairs to those who need them. If the former actress is generous to other people, she is definitely more generous to her family.

Based on the statement of comedian-talent manager Ogie Diaz in his recent Showbiz Update vlog, Gretchen was supposed to give the aforementioned amount to her younger sister every month.

This statement of Ogie came from their topic about the candidacy of Claudine. The Optimum Star is running for councilor in Olongapo City. Claudine previously mentioned that even though she has no campaign budget, she will continue her candidacy.

At this point, Ogie said that Claudine was supposed to receive P500,000 every month from her Ate Gretchen. However, the older Barretto had a condition but her younger sister was not able to fulfill it.

When Ogie’s co-host Mama Loi asked if it has something to do with the “reconciliation” that happened between Claudine and Marjorie Barretto, the comedian-talent manager said that it has no connection.

Ogie said that this supposed financial support of Gretchen to Claudine happened last year.  “Kung hindi tumakbo siguro si Claudine eh malamang eh nasuportahan siya ni Gretchen,” he said stressing that this was the story that was told to him by his source.

However, Ogie said that Claudine and Gretchen love each other and that they are okay right now. The comedian-talent manager also mentioned that La Greta had a checklist of what her younger sister was supposed to do but things did not happen according to what she wanted. When Mama Loi asked what was the condition, Ogie answered, “ayoko nang magsabi tunkol doon. Hayaan mo silang mag-usap.”
