The Oppo A96 was officially announced on January 12, 2022. The 5G-ready smartphone is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 4500 mAh battery + fast charging 33W + reverse charging + USB Power Delivery. It is available in three colors: Black, Blue, and Pink.

Body & Display:

Oppo A96 measures 159.9 x 73.2 x 7.5 mm and weighs 171 grams. It comes in a 6.43 inches screen size and the display is OLED capacitive touchscreen that provides 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution.

Platform:

The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm SM6375 Snapdragon 695 5G (6 nm) Octa-core processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is Adreno 619. It runs on the Android 11 + ColorOS 12 operating system. It is integrated with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Main Camera:

The rear side of the Oppo A96 sports a dual-camera that consists of 48-megapixel (wide) + 2-megapixel (depth). It features panorama, HDR, and LED flash.

Selfie Camera:

For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a single camera on the front that features a 16-megapixel (wide) camera. It also features HDR.

Connectivity options on the phone include USB Type-C 2.0, USB On-The-Go (OTG), GPS wiwth A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, QZSS, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, hotspot, and Bluetooth 5.1. The phone’s sensors include fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
