Claudine Barretto and Marjorie Barretto reconciled

Optimum Star Claudine Barretto talked about the reconciliation that she had with her older sister Marjorie Barretto that happened during their New Year celebration.

It is known to many showbiz fans that there was a rift between the Barretto sisters. A few years ago, Claudine and her older sister Gretchen Barretto already reconnected and rekindled their sisterhood. On the other, they were still not in good terms with Marjorie for a long time.

After the New Year celebration, photos showing that Claudine and Marjorie were together circulated on social media. Because of this, many netizens concluded that the feud between them already ended. Based on the article in PEP, during a recent infeevit for her new movie Deception, Claudine Barretto was asked about that event in which she and Marjorie Barretto were spotted together.

The Optimum Star said that her 2022 started with happiness. “Maganda ang simula ng taon ko dahil nakasama ko ang buong pamilya ko. Nag-New Year kami sa Subic at kasama ko yung mga pamangkin ko, mga anak ni Marjorie,” she said.

Claudine was also happy to share that they celebrated the New Year with a bang and that there were love and peace of mind. It was a fun event that took place in their house in Olongapo. Claudine also mentioned that everyone in the family was there except her two older sister who are abroad.

“Sinalubong namin yung New Year with so much love and happiness and so much peace,” Claudine Barretto shared. Meanwhile, aside from that family reunion that prompted her reconnection with Marjorie, the Optimum Star is also positive about her future political career.

She is running for councilor in Olongapo under the team of her talent manager Arnold Vegafria who is running for mayor. In a previous interview, Claudine expressed that she really wants to help even though she is not that knowledgeable when it comes to politics.
