Sarangani Hit by Earthquake with 3.5 Magnitude
EARTHQUAKE – The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) recorded a 3.5 magnitude quake in Sarangani, December 22, 2021.
Most of the time, quakes hit with no prior signs. Recently, several places in and out of the Philippines were shaken by quakes of different magnitudes.
Previously, in April 22, Phivolcs recorded a quake in a part of Zambales. It had a magnitude of 6.1. Strong shaking was felt leaving people fearing about the so-called “

Recently, a quake has hit a part of Sarangani, December 22, 2021. At 04:10 a.m., Balut Island was hit by an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.5.
According to Phivolcs, the quake that hit a part of Ilocos Norte was located at 03.54°North, 127.74°East – 330 km South 51° East of Balut Island with a depth of origin of 162 kilometers.
stated in its bulletin that damages are expected of the said quake and as well as aftershocks. Furthermore, no intensity was recorded to have been felt at the epicenter of the quake nor the nearby areas.
