Leni Robredo shared this sentiments of typhoon Odette victims

said that the victims of typhoon Odette where they visited stressed the importance of ABS-CBN amid disasters.

The Philippines is recently hit by a strong typhoon, especially in the regions of Visayas and Mindanao. Following this recent calamity, government officials and private sectors have started giving help to the typhoon victims.

Vice President visited was the province of Bohol

. Together with her team, they gave relief goods to the residents who suffered from the effect of the typhoon.

Based on the report from the Philippine Star, VP Leni Robredo has shared that typhoon victims have told her the value of having ABS-CBN amid this kind of situation.

“Napakahirap po magpadala ng mga pictures except ‘yung mga galling doon na nakalabas na, kahit kami na nandoon mahirap mag-communicate dito. Ito po, very common na sinasabi sa amin na wala na kasing ABS-CBN, so wala na sa aming nagko-cover,”

the presidential aspirant said.

Because of the shutting down of the Kapamilya network following the failure to renew its franchise, regional stations across the country were among the casualties. In line with this, based on the article in Interaksyon personalities from ABS-CBN expressed how frustrating it is for them that the regional stations of the Kapamilya network are no longer there to cover the effect of typhoon Odette in provinces.

“Mahalaga talaga ang papel ng ABS-CBN Regional Network Group lalo na sa panahon ng kalamidad,”

entertainment reporter MJ Felipe said. His fellow entertainment reporter Gretchen Fullido also expressed that she misses the ABS-CBN and Regional Network Group (RNG) reports on free TV and on DZMM amid the calamities.

urging the presidential aspirant to change her political strategy

to assure a bigger probability of winning the 2022 presidential race.
