, was also shocked when they have finally announced their relationship but he’s not completely shocked about it, he just didn’t see it coming. Before the announcement, they already know the special connection between these two screen veterans.

And just recently, son of Picache with her former husband Gary Tria, 19-year-old Nio Tria, also expressed his reaction about it. Nio shared his feelings over her mother’s new love during a virtual media conference for “Saying Goodbye”, an upcoming series where he is one of the casts.

Picache and Tria separated last 2006, and being in a relationship now with Manzano, 66, Nio aired his happiness for his mother. He believes that she deserves to be happy. He wasn’t shocked at all when their relationship finally made it on the news. He said,

“Siyempre, alam ko na before pa na pinupuntahan ni Tito Edu ‘yung mom ko, so nami-meet ko na siya. I get to interact with him, talk to him as well.”

He also added “Boto naman po”, when asked if Edu got his approval. Meanwhile, as a newbie in the industry and being the son of one of the best drama actresses in the industry, he admitted the pressure he’s feeling. He tries hard to look at the pressure as a motivation to do his best in the field.
