They both have a bubbly personality and their sense of humor are of the same wavelength the reason why they immediately got along so well. They immediately became comfortable with each other. Maymay quipped as she recalled their first meeting,

“Ang saya ko nu’n day nung first nating pagkikita! Kasi as in tingin pa lang natin nag-click na tayo talaga e. Alam mong mga buang talaga e! Hahaha!”

The second meeting they’ve had was still an ABS-CBN event where they were able to talk about a lot of things. And since then, they became friends. People can not see them often together because they chose to keep their friendship low-key. And this is what Maymay liked about him, he also wants some things to be kept private just like their friendship.
